Imagine you are a cold, hungry, thirsty, and starving homeless beggar. Imagine that are walking down an unfamiliar street and hear someone outside of a mission house saying loudly to the passerbys:
“Ho! Every one who thirsts, come to the waters; And you who have no money come, buy and eat. Come, buy wine and milk without money and without cost.
Why do you spend money for what is not bread, And your wages for what does not satisfy? Listen carefully to Me, and eat what is good, And delight yourself in abundance.
Incline your ear and come to Me. Listen, that you may live!” (Isaiah 55)
Would you just walk on by? Would you just muse to yourself, “I’m not interested; this is just too good to be true.” Or, would you answer the call and invitation to get free lifesaving food and drink?

There is an eternal call for sinners to to come and eat the “Bread of Life” (John 6:32-35), and to drink the “Living Water” (John 4:11-15). Will you ignore the call, yes, the command, to partake of Jesus?
God in His great mercy even ends the Bible with this same call to salvation. Revelation 22:16-17 says, “I, Jesus, have sent My angel to testify to you these things for the churches. I am the root and the descendant of David, the bright morning star.” The Spirit and the bride say, “Come.” And let the one who hears say, “Come.” And let the one who is thirsty come; let the one who wishes take the water of life without cost”.
Will you come and feast? Will you turn from your sins to follow Jesus Christ who pay the price for sin in full? He paid the cost so that those who believe in Him can partake freely.
